The Hotel

Auberge Edelweiss, a favourite address with bon-vivant skiers and cyclists, is a privately owned centuries old coaching inn. With accomodation in comfortable rooms, a cosy bar and a restaurant boasting one of the finest wine lists around, the Edelweiss is more than just a hotel.

It's no wonder that guests return from around the world year after year.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and our international and multi-lingual team will make sure you feel at home.

The Edelweiss is based round a large private terrace, and is situated in the heart of the village.

All the 14 bedrooms face the glaciers of La Meije and have en suite bathrooms with private toilet. All our beds are equipped with duvets and "bien-être pillows for a good night rest. We have double/twin bedrooms, as well as a few  rooms that can host up to 3 people.

Our hotel, including all the rooms and apartments is 100% non-smoking.

We are open winter and summer and take bookings for accommodation for any number of days and any day of the week. Without the fixed arrival and departure dates, you can well avoid heavy saturday traffic and traffic jams.

ANYTHING ELSE worth mentioning?

• We are big fans of BLUES MUSIC, and we have a few live concerts per year. We also have jam sessions, some planned, other happen spontaneously. With Robin on the guitar, you might be lucky and join in for a few tunes.
• We also cater for corporate management and team building seminars - conference facilities including training room for small groups up to 15 people and multi media equipment are available.
