La Grave-La Meije has 2400 metres of vertical from its telepherique and the glacier, all in an unpatrolled high mountain zone. There are no pistes here except two on the glacier at 3500. It has lots of different routes, from steep couloirs, to open descents on the glacier. We strongly recommend that you take a guide, as around 95% of our clients do.
In our well equiped workshop we have all the necessary specialist tools for servicing your skis and other mountain gear before facing the mountains. Skis can be safely stored at the end of the day.
After a long day on the mountain, you can relax in our sauna area; we also work with a number of massage therapists who come (on request) to the hotel if massages are needed. And for those who don't need all that, beer and cocktails are served in the bar or in front of the fireplace.
Each morning we offer a generous and well balanced breakfast buffet with all the cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, hot drinks, locally made jams, fresh breads, meat, cheese and fruit salad...Enough to keep the hungriest sportsmen going.

Alpe D’Huez, Les Deux Alpes and Serre Chevalier are usually a 30 minutes drive away and you are in Italy within 45 minutes too. You can ski in a different place every day if you like to chase the best snow.
